Interview with Andrea Blom, CEO Adre by AB for NIKA’s Wold Magazine

And to kick off the new year, we have the pleasure of interviewing the fabulous Andrea Blom, CEO and founder of Adre by AB - an LA based swim and resort wear brand.

For those who don’t know, Adre by AB is a luxurious brand that exudes elegance and confidence. Just like NIKA & GYM IN A BOX,  they are proud to be a ‘Made in LA’ brand.

So without further ado, let’s get to know the boss lady herself, Andrea Blom. 
Yes, you guessed it right, we have the CEO of Adre by AB, Andrea Blom, with us for an exclusive interview with NIKA's World Magazine. Andrea is a go-getter, a trend-setter, and a strong woman who is making a name for herself in the fashion industry with her chic and stylish swimwear collections. Let's dive into the interview and get to know more about her and her brand. 

NWM: Hello Andrea, it's great to have you here. First of all, Happy New Year 2024! Do you have any New Year's resolutions for this year?

Andrea: Hi Nika, thank you for having me . My new year's resolution is to be extra kind to others and to continue growing my business as a female entrepreneur.

NWM: That's great to hear. So, tell us a little bit about yourself. Where are you from, and what inspired you to pursue a career in the bikini fashion industry?

Andrea: I'm from Düsseldorf, Germany, also known as little Paris due to its thriving fashion industry. I went to fashion school in Düsseldorf and have always been passionate about fashion and traveling. Growing up, my parents instilled in me a love for exploring new places and experiencing different cultures. So, it was only natural for me to combine my love for fashion and travel and start my own resort wear company.

NWM: Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and your brand, Adre by AB?

Andrea: I grew up in Europe and moved to the US with a passion for travel and fashion. I have always felt most at peace in swimwear and have traveled to some amazing destinations like Saint Tropez, Ibiza, and Barbados. Those experiences have inspired my collection which is designed for every woman who loves to feel beautiful and live life to the fullest.

NWM: That sounds amazing. I used to live in Ibiza for many years myself! Where do you see yourself and your brand in the next five years?

Andrea: In the next five years, I see myself as a successful e-commerce entrepreneur. Apart from designing swimwear for women, I also plan to expand my brand by creating swimwear and loungewear collections for both men and women.

NWM: We love that your brand is all about inspiring women and empowering them through fashion. What sets Adre by AB apart from other swim and resort wear brands?

Andrea: Our fabrics! We use only the finest materials for our pieces. Comfort and quality are important to us, so we take our time in selecting the perfect fabrics for our collections. Our aim is to be a leading fashion brand that is not only stylish but also durable.

NWM: With the new year, many of our readers are looking to get their perfect bikini body. Do you have any tips for them?

Andrea: Absolutely! First and foremost, I believe in embracing your natural curves and not conforming to society’s standards of beauty. NWM: That sounds like a dream workout! Lastly, what can we expect to see from Adre by AB in 2024?

Andrea: We have some exciting collaborations and new collection launches planned for this year. Our goal is to continue inspiring women and creating beautiful and timeless pieces that make them feel confident and empowered.  

NWM: With so many competitors in the industry, what sets you apart? What's the magic behind your swimwear?

Andrea: Unlike many others, I don't follow trends. I design pieces that I would personally love to wear. My inspiration comes from my travels around the world. Each item is not only meant to make my customers feel beautiful but also to provide them with comfort and high-quality materials. Moreover, I strongly believe in providing top-notch customer care, which sets us apart from others.

NWM: That's definitely a great approach to stand out in this competitive industry. So, how do you define success? 

Andrea: To me, success means believing in yourself and having the courage to follow your dreams and ideas. It's not giving up and persevering through all the challenges. That's what success means to me.

NWM: We can see your passion and determination in your work. Who or what inspires you?

Andrea: I draw inspiration from my surroundings, living in a fashion-forward city like Düsseldorf, and my childhood memories of playing dress-up. My travels also play a significant role in my creative process.

NWM: Before we say goodbye, any advice for aspiring fashion designers?

Andrea: My advice would be to follow your passion, have patience, and never give up. Success doesn't happen overnight, and it takes a lot of hard work and determination to make your dreams a reality.
